Merry Christmas Everyone!
This is the Christmas season. A little voice plays in my head its OK to indulge a bit here and there , then you can do the walk and stop the talk. Well, I told myself the same last year and the year before. Only if there’s some determination to get up and get moving. Well this year I think there may be some determination a bit more maybe? A bit more than last year and the year before. 🙂 Anyone has trouble sticking to diets and exercise? With the new year fast approaching its time for resolutions. I read a post which said “Resolution for 2017 is keeping that was made for 2016.” I am one of those. This recipe was given by a friend Percy. Although I have made the recipe a few years back. You could also do this over the Stove/ Stove top.This Christmas I wanted to try the Tandoori as well as the Green Kabab as an alternate.


Recipe :
To Grind :
Mint leaves : a Handful
Coriander leaves : 2 Handfuls
Green Chillies : 2
Fennel Seeds : 3/4 tsp
Cinnamon : 2 x 1 inch
Cloves : 3
Cardamom : 3
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
To Marinate:
Ground mixture from above
Yoghurt : 2 Tbsp (Thick curd, not too sour) I used Greek Yoghurt
Lemon juice : 1/2 Lemon
Chicken Drumsticks : 4 large or 5 small
Salt : 3/4 tsp
Butter : 1 tsp soft
Method:
Grind all the ingredients except the lemon juice, curd and the butter
Marinate with the ground paste, lemon juice and curd excepting the butter for about 3-4 hours > Marinate over night for better results
Layer on Grill and grill it for 20 mins on medium high and then flip and cook further 20 minutes. Finally brush with a little butter and grill further for 5-7 minutes.
